Some
field welded joints ultrasonic and magnetic partele inspection had been made
during technological modernization
of industrial
building steel frame. Welded
joints
quality assessments obtained from two different laboratories were
negative. Fundamental quality requirements weren’t fullfiled yet from 1995 year
when the object was finished and exploitation was started. During ordered
complex investigations some significant for building safety departures from the
execution project were constated. In time of the integration of steel frame
field splices in lateral frames girders were displaced to nodes in area of
extreme cross-sectional forces.
