The church under the
invocation of St. Jadwiga in Szopienice. It was built in 1885-1887 according to a design of an unknown
architect, Neo-Gothic, made of brick, three nave, basilican, on the Latin cross view, with one tower facade. Many elements of the original furnishings have been preserved in the interior - stained-glass windows, a collection of saints'' figures, the high altar. They come from the local workshops. Sculptures, both the altar ones and the ones placed on the
consoles, at the nave walls figures of saints and the Crucifixion group from the rood arch beam, separating the presbytery from the nave, have been repainted recently (1984), what made that many style features had disappeared. In the churchyard the garden chapel was built in 1903, designed by Ludvig Schneider, Neo-Gothic, made of brick.
