Be yourself,don't fake!
Today's generation is pretending to be something they are not. They are "faking".
Botox,
Liposuction, surgical implantations,
contact lenses, make overs etc are all tried & tested by many females (men are too joining the bandwagon) to look "good".
Why can't we accept each other just the way we are? Why can't we all gracefully age? Why create a pressure to look "young" by application of creams and make up? At what cost are we showing the people our "fake" faces? Who all are involved in compelling us to be something we are not?
It is the influence of Media on people. Media shows flawless male and female models by manipulating their faces and figures. The people who see these "perfect" beauties get titilated to copy them. The pictures that we see on TV, magazines, newspapers, Internet,books etc are mostly adjusted by use of technology in such a way that models look "stunning".
A woman in the USA wore contact lenses. She suffered from an eye infection by using the lense solution which was not of a good quality. Her eyes got damaged.
There are so many of us who wear contact lenses to hide from people our "geekish" looks on wearing
speckes. Why contact lens over speckes while on a date? Why not speckes?The fear of rejection of the "flawed" beauty?
Many people undergo nose, stomach, breast surgeries, face lift etc to follow the normal standardized rule. Who makes these standards? Aren't we all unique in our own ways? Why follow the symmetric figure of the body? Why become so intolerant of our own selves?
There are better ways to look good than undergoing surgeries, wearing contact lenses, make overs etc.
Drink water/juices/buttermilk/coconut water/green tea/soups etc on a regular basis everyday.
Exercise every day in the mornings and evenings.
Eat healthy foods like green leafy vegetables, rotis, salads etc.
Carry out mental exercises like reading and writing.
Do not have any addictions in life. No smoking, drinking , say no to drugs.
Brush your teeth each night before sleeping.
Do not let life's pressure and stress make you feel low. Go for walks, deep breath and write your day to day plan.
Sleep well each night.
Taking proper daily care of your body and mind shall make you look and feel younger. So do not pretend, accept yourself just the way you are.
