Has anyone made any money with
shvoong.com?
yes, been Paid
By Lyndon

Shvoong pays the abstract writer when he/she accumulates more than the minimum $10 required after the 1st of every single month. It runs the same concept of paying the writer royalties to write down his abstract. As the site also pays for translation of
abstracts, writers with a strong knowledge is able to earn just by doing that for his or other people's abstract for an additional 5% of advertising profits.
YES, and people have been paid.
Yes but it takes a long while to accumulate to a usable amount - but thats just like many other online earning websites. many might say that they will reward you with a $10 sign up bonus but then the money start builing up penny by penny, cent by cent, its a game of participation, dedicated and patience.
A little, but it's had other benefits By Lisa Mcrobbie Although I have made a few cents from two reviews I wrote for the shvoong, its main benefits to me personally (like many of these paid to review sites) have been getting feedback, learning from others, gaining confidence and making contacts. It's helped me improve my writing and start to focus on certain topics, which will (hopefully) increase my earnings in future from sources that pay more.
Shvoong!
By Anna Bayhi Shvoong.com is a recent addition to "My Favorites" list. I have not had much experience with them at all but from what I've read and learned about them, they seem to be legitimate. To date, I have not read any negative feedback about this site. Shvoong.com is a site that allows you to register for free and write abstracts (reviews ranging anywhere from 300 to 900 words) on varies topics such as Science, Books, WWW.'s, etc. For anyone who enjoys reviewing and writing, this site may be a good approach.
SHVOONG LOOKS VERY SERIOUS AND PROFESSIONAL
By Juan Rodriguez Villa
I just joined Shvoong last week.
I have not published yet with them, but I have read some positive comments here and in other forums.
Personally, I will start publishing with Shvoong next week, and I will give them a couple of months period in order to see how they work, how they pay, how serious they are with publishers, etc...
They offer two levels of payment based on the work you do with them.
If you write original and exclusive reports with them, they will give you a 10% of the revenue generated by the ads around your piece of writing. This means that more quality and content, means more readers, more traffic, more clicks and more money for you.
If you translate writings from another languages to yor mother language, you get 5% of the money made by the ads in that page.
If you are a serious and committed writer, you should give a try to shvoong.com

Of course someone has made money with shvoong.com. I have personally never been to shvoong.com but I know some people tha have made and still make money. So the answer to the question is yes someone has made money with shvoong.com.
By C Philip I found Shvoong when they first went online, and shortly thereafter they had a contest. The three people who posted the most abstracts over a month received $1000, $500, and $250 in sequential order. I write my broke ass off and took first place. They paid promptly, and even gave me the $1000 in two installments so I wouldn't have to upgrade my Paypal account and have fees taken out of the money.
For National Sciences and Humanities Day last year, they paid $20 for every five science or humanities abstracts submitted on that day, and they gave about five days warning (so we could stock-pile, I guess.) I was working on other stuff at that point, but I sub10 and got my $40.
I have also recieved one $11.00 payout the normal way. My advice is to only use Shvoong as a money-making option if they are offering some sort of special, guaranteed per-abstract payout. I seem to be the exception to the rule here.
I did and I still do

Shvoong is okay as LONG as you are patient enough to wait for about 3-7 days for a response. They do inform you right away if your review is plublished but YOU have to get people (get the LINK of your shvoong and LINK it to your site. ) Like all other review sites, shvoong depends a LOT on traffic so they need your link (or your email should have your so-called FLYER code). Yes I make money from that site and they are good ! They also sell your reviews and that where you really make money. So when you write them, be a little more creative and that WOULD get you there.
You can also make your own book review blog and submit it to blogitive.com -- that one pays too but your "blog" is thoroughtly examined but that pays well!
