Two
different opposing
viewpoints of misanthropy in "Gulliver's Travels" are detailed, compared and contrasted. The author
uses "Satire in the Works of Swift and Gay" by Catherine Cooper and "Swift's Gulliver's Travels", a lecture by Ian Johnston, to contrast and compare the two
different viewpoints. The arguments presented by both these authors are reviewed and analyzed in order to determine which one is a more accurate interpretation of Gulliver's view of humanity.
