A critical analysis of the complexities of good and
evil in John Steinbeck's novel, "East of Eden", and a discussion on the
way Steinbeck kept the depth of the biblical Cain and Able story with first the characters of Charles and Adam, and later with Cal and Aaron. The paper makes the reader question who is
really evil, and who really is good.
