This paper shows how Fitzgerald's characters' cars reflect their personalities and their facades. It discusses how the characters
themselves represent certain traits of the American people in the "Jazz Age." Finally, Fitzgerald uses light and dark imagery along with colors to show the moods and feelings of his characters and his generation.
