This paper will examine several issues in the hope of understanding how the pursuit of war criminals directly affected (and
continues to affect), Canadians and Canadian Jews as Canadians, as well as Canadian Jews as Jews. In addressing these concerns, the historical relationship between government and Jewish groups in the period under discussion, will be referenced as well.
