This paper will discuss the nature of the character Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe, and how the he grows in the story. By
understanding the theme of the character at the beginning of the story, we can take a
look and see how Defoe ends the story in the character development of his main character. By
understanding this progression, we can take a good look at what Robinson Crusoe learns from his journey.
