Edmund S. Morgan's book, "Benjamin Franklin", is a concise
look at the
life of the great American
statesman. This paper explains how the book delves into all aspects of Franklin's life and
creates a compelling look at the man. Morgan's effective use of primary sources creates a great deal of credibility, although his admiration of Franklin leaves the cynical reader with the feeling that Morgan may not provide a complete criticism of Franklin's life.
