This paper looks at how the poetry of both Blake and Wordsworth is representative of the Romantic Movement's reaction to
the rise of science and materialism and the denial by society of the
importance of nature and
imagination. The paper also compares and contrasts Blake's and Wordsworth's poetry and demonstrates their differing views about the importance and place of nature and imagination in our lives.
