This paper analyzes
hydropower which is a form of energy obtained from flowing water. Hydropower has been in existence for
over 2000 years when the Greek first powered a clock using water around 250 BC. The writer of this paper focuses on Hydro-Quebec, the largest source of
hydropower in Quebec and argues that this renewable energy source is an environmentally-hazardous option.
