This paper will seek to integrate the
realism, some of the
comedy, and other aspects of appearance that arise in the three
plays "Hedda Gabler" by Ibsen; "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller; "Fences" by August Wilson. By analyzing these themes within the scope of the three plays, we can see how they intermingle with various elements of
realism and
comedy, as well as the way that they approached in their differences of style.
