This paper compares the early to mid-18th centuries in France and England, particularly Paris and London, drawing upon the
similarities in prevailing social conditions and actions necessitated by history. The author examines how one country moved on to revolutionize how we see the economy while the other was in a struggle to establish its identity as a land of its people.
