The Causes of the Cold War

Book Summary by: AcaDemon

In this paper it is argued that the origins of the Cold War remain the subject of historical controversy. This paper critically
examines how the Cold War began and the question of who started it. This paper argues the thesis that the question of who started the Cold War is irrelevant and that it was an inevitable outcome of the geo-political arrangement of the world in the 20th century. This essay also evaluates the two competing historical points of view on the Cold War: the so-called "orthodox" and "revisionist" schools.
