This paper examines the concept of
war and the absolute and
theoretical qualities demonstrated therein. This is
accomplished through addressing the concrete example of the Yom Kippur War that took place in 1973 in the Middle East and in northern Africa against the theoretical structure of war as presented in several historical
essays. Traditional sources include Sun Tzu's work, "The Art of War" and Carl von Clausewitz's "Principles of War". This is accomplished in three small independent essays.
