This paper is on General Douglas MacArthur. General MacArthur lived his entire life for the army from cradle to grave. He
served an aide in Theodore Roosevelt's White House. MacArthur gained his first real measure of fame during War World I. As an old soldier he faded away from the public eye until his death in 1964.
