Vietnam Conflicts and Interests

Book Summary by: AcaDemon

The Vietnam conflict was a horrible tragedy in which a lot of American lives were lost. Not only were American lives lost,
but most of a country and the lives of many Vietnamese civilian lives were destroyed. It looks at how some people, such as Philip Caputo, still argue that the war effort that spanned for three decades on Vietnamese soil was pointless and examines how "A Rumor of War" by Philip Caputo strongly argues these points and doubts all war efforts as a whole in completing and outweighing the advantages compared to losses.
