This paper describes the Israeli-Palestinian
conflict, explaining that the present day conflict arose right after WWII when
Europe partitioned what was then Palestine in order to give the Jewish people a much needed homeland of their own. The
paper gives insight into positions on both sides of the
conflict, pointing out that the longstanding anger and hatred between the two sides will make finding peace exceedingly difficult.
