The
movement for women's rights and
suffrage in America was greatly influenced by the movement in Europe; as was Europe impacted
by the work being done in America. This paper explains the pre-
suffrage role of women, voting laws, and treatment of suffragists. It ties together suffrage in Europe and America and what impacts these women were able to make.
