This paper examines how the Roman Catholic Church has received heavy media attention since revelations that they have not
handled charges of sex abuse against their priests in ways that prevent the offenders from working with
children in the future. It proposes a study to determine what Catholic parents tell their children now about sexual
predators compared to what they told their children prior to the publication of knowledge regarding sex offenses committed against children by priests of the Catholic Church. Outline Aims and Objectives Hypothesis Research Methods Limitations
