This paper explains that only after Scripture had been shaped and bordered did it turn out to be natural, or indeed likely,
to see and to classify Christianity as a scriptural religion. The author points out that the traditional Catholic doctrines were, from the start, predicated upon the survival of Scripture as an
absolute. The paper states that Catholicism is a faith able to differentiate itself from any society and yet is able to connect with and
