This paper examines the effect that Hinduism has had as a
religion, culture, and way of life on Indian
society. The paper
discusses the different types of festivals celebrated in Hinduism, how they are conducted, their significance and meaning to Indian
society, and how they are very much an extension of the influence that Hinduism has over Indian society.
