Hi.Most of people - I think - will see a
JOURNAL in the same section as a BLOG, if organizing them is necessary.Well,
to me, they're completely different things. And sometimes, depending on
which of the 2 groups you see your Opera page fitting in, you might be
missing some important concepts. Please, don't take it as the truth, it's just what I think.BLOGS:To me, a blog, is just like any other website on the web, where you write
and expose your ideas, opinions, cool stuff you find on the web and so
on...Basically, a blog is a website you maintain in order to have
people coming back all the time to check if there's anything new. And,
if no-one comes back to your blog, so why should you keep it "alive"?
It's horrible when you keep on reasoning if what you wrote will catch
the attention of people... It sounds a little propaganda style. I guess.
JOURNALS:I'm a huge fan of journals... Journals are meant to contain the inner
feelings of a person, basically being written during happy or sad
moments, and, while writing the post (or entry, if you got a paper
JOURNAL) the person is looking for some kind of enlightening, or help,
or simply a 'venting time'. And, most of the times, I'm looking for
your help, my friends.Journals are more genuine. Journals come from the heart, free of reason.Once, Aristotle said that "Law is reason free from passion". Sounds true. And I'd use the same concept to express what I feel about journals: "A journal is passion free from reason." That's the reason I felt so uncomfortable while reading one of my old entries, and I have realized that I haven't been kept on my original concepts, regards to this journal here. So, for that matter, I'll try to get back on track, and try to make this
journal here, simply passion, absolutely free from reason. Please, it's just what I think and feel about it.Thanks for reading,Dan
