This paper takes a story of a young teenage couple who have a baby and looks at the complex laws regarding
paternity and
adoption. The paper examines situations like if the mother wishes to leave the state, give the child up for adoption, block
visitation rights and so on. The father's rights are also addressed such as child support and wishing to obtain custody.
