This
paper attempts to impart a greater understanding of
socialism by explaining exactly what socialism is and is not. The
paper explains that
socialism has many faces and manifests itself even in societies that claim to embrace only capitalism. A brief history of socialism and its influence on political systems throughout the world is also discussed as well as the need to educate people about the true meaning of socialism.
