AIM To study the effect of angiotensin on the
wound healing of the abdominal operation. METHODS The concentration of angiotensin
of the animal modes of simple abdominal incision, resection and anastomosis of small bowel, administration of exogenous angiotensin Ⅱ(AgⅡ) and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI) and treatment with 9 g·L -1 NaCl were investigated by means of
radioimmunoassay. RESULTS The concentration of angiotensin of the most operated animal increased obviously especially for the resection and anastomosis of small bowel. After administration of AgⅡ,the
wound healing of the animal with hight concentration of angiotensin were unfavourable. but that can be mitgated with intravenous injection of ACE inhibitors and 9 g·L -1 NaCl treatment. CONCLUSION General abdominal operation increased the concentration of angiotensin of the animal, which in turn, exerts its obstructive action on the wound healing. experiment also showed that 9 g·L -1 NaCl treatment can relived the changes of angiotensin concentration and the effect on the wound healing.
