Objective The observation of effect of taurine on the development of young rats' brain and tissue
ultrastructure.Methods
The rats were fed with experimental foodstuff after their pregnancy and divided into taurine group and control one.The mother rats were fed with the same foodstuff after giving birth.The young rats were randomly divided into taurine group and control one with their mothers. The weight of rats' brains and
hippocampus was gotten after the birth of 14 d and 28 d.and the
ultrastructure of hippocampus of young rats was observed under transmitting electronic microscope.Results The rats were fed with experimental foodstuff after their pregnancy and divided into taurine group and control one.The mother rats were fed with the same foodstuff after giving birth.The young rats were randomly divided into taurine group and control one with their mothers.
