Progressive Power Yoga is a unique style of yoga adapted by Mark Blanchard. This style contains smooth motions in a challenging
format that burns calories, sculpts muscles, and increases flexibility while relieving stress and creating a feeling of inner calm. Blanchard’s style of yoga is presented in three DVD volumes, each containing a different challenging one and a half hour work out. Volume Three of Progressive Power Yoga continues to work on the same premise as volumes one and two, a very challenging workout where the participant is encouraged to do what they can. I didn’t find the poses in this workout as frightening as those in the second volume of this series but the workout did seem a little more intimidating than that of volume one. Thus, I think that this particular workout would make a good change up video from the other two workouts. Once you’ve done each of the workouts enough to be getting the majority of the moves, I suggest cycling through these three DVDs to keep things fresh and work the various muscle groups.
