AIDS has continued unabated for most part of the last two decades. In the absence of a curative drug, all our treatment methods
are based on containing the
infection. This paper argues that by way of educational campaigns and good sexual hygiene we can surely keep the spread of HIV under check. The possibility of
vaccination offers a new ray of hope to put an end to the dreaded epidemic.
