This paper attempts to show that while there is no cure, modern
medicine has provided the means of maintaining a healthy life-style for
juvenile diabetes and that exercise and proper diet may even avoid adults from having to take any medication at all. It is also be noted that there are tens, perhaps hundreds of thousands of people in the United States who are unaware that they have diabetes, or are borderline.
