Since the the early 1990s, investigation by a
number of researchers on a number of continents has clearly defined the link between HIV/AIDS and the increase and spread of MDR-TB. This paper shows how the theory developed, how it has been handled in the medical field, and why any significant action had not been taken until the year 2004 to deal with the problem on a global scale.
