Chinese Garfield buffs can
soon catch the naughty
fat cat on screen this Friday again
in the sequel "Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties."
The first installment was criticized for its weak
script. This time around, the fat cat will tour London and
meet a twin-like cat.
Bill Murray returns as the voice of Garfield in this
follow-up and Billy Connolly as the another cat in the
English
version.
In the Chinese version, veteran
dubbing actor Liu Feng
from the Shanghai Film Dubbing Studio dubbed for both of
the two
cats.
Some hip words often used by young people in Chinese
have been adapted into the dialogue between the two cats.
The movie has already expanded into 31 markets and
scored an overseas total gross of 22.8 million dollars.
