Industry Garden to Settle in Chengdu Sichuan has geared up the development of bio-tech industry and decided to make
the province a stronghold on the map of
industry development in China by 2020, with added value of the sector well over 200 billion yuan, according to a document issued by the government this week. The province has
decided to increase investment in bio-tech industry and to set up a bio-tech industry and to set up a bio-tech industry garden in Chengdu. The first phase of the construction will be finished in 2010, and the completion will take 15 years.
