The Journal of Social and Psychological
Sciences is a fully peer reviewed
periodical that aims to establish an
interface between the disciplines of Sociology and Psychology by
focusing upon the what is currently known as "Psychosocial" (where the
'nature' and 'nurture' are bind together). This
periodical also attempts
to solve theoretical dichotomies between different
approaches in Social
Sciences and Humanities. But most importantly, this journal gives voice
to alternative approaches to Psychology including: Discursive
Psychology, Psychoanalysis, Humanistic and Feminist Psychology, etc. It
serves as a forum where academics from a variety of research backgrounds
can express their thoughts and views about any topic in particular.
