THE AFRICAN WOMEN WERE DEPRIVED THE OPPORTUNITY OF CONTRIBUTING TO THE CREATION OF IMPORTANT DECISIONS, WHEN IT
CONCERNED VERY IMPORTANT MATTERS LIKE ‘POLITICS’.THIS WAS A VERY CONSPICOUS CHALLENGE FOR A LONG WHILE AND THE€TUAL REASON FOR THIS DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THE FEMALE GENDER WERE BASICLY BASED ON THE OLD MENTALITY THAT THE FEMALE GENDER IS STRICTLY FOR THE HOME.
IN AN ONE HUNDRED PERCENT GRADE ON ANALYSING THE ABOVE REASON FOR THAT CHALLENGE, 60% OF THE NEW GENERATION THINK OR RATHER CONSIDER THE REASON AS UNFAIR, ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF EQUALITY.THEY ALSO PREFER TO SEE MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO BE CREATED FOR THE FEMALE GENDER TO PARTICIPATE ACTIVILY IN INTERNATIONAL,NATIONAL,LOCAL MATTERS. 30% OF THE NEW GENERATION STILL THINKS THAT THE ABOVE REASON IS TO BE RESPECTED AND LEFT THAT WAY. THE REMAINING 10% ARE FLOATERS WHO ARE NOT TOO CONCERNED ON THE GENDER JUSTICE BUT ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THAT THE WORK IS DONE.
THOUGH THIS EXIST TO AN EXTENT IN THE TODAYS WORLD IN AFRICA, THE FEMALE GENDER HAS BEEN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN IMPORTANT POSITIONS AND GOOD EXAMPLES ARE THE WOMEN IN THE NIGERIAN HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE.BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT CHALLENGE FACED NOW BY THE FEMALE GENDER IS "THE CHALLENGE OF LIVING UP TO EXPECTATION".THAT IS, NOW THAT THE CHANCE HAVE BEEN GIVEN, CAN THEY TRULY MAKE ANY IMPACT IN THE POSITIONS THEY HOLD? FOR THE PERIOD OF TIME THAT THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS CREATED, WHAT IS THE IMPROVEMENT MADE BY THEM? THE QUESTIONS GO ON AND ON.
ALTHOUGH THESE QUESTIONS ALSO AFFECT OR RATHER CAN BE THROWN ALSO TO THE MALE GENDER BUT IT IS MORE ON THE FEMALE SIDE BECAUSE THEY ARE THE NEWCOMERS AND THEY WERE GIVEN THE CHANCE OUT OF NOTHING AND CIVILIZATION.THERE ARE SO MANY NEW CHALLENGES FOR THE FEMALE GENDER BUT ACCORDING TO MY LATEST RESEARCH WHICH IS ON THE PARTICIPATION OF THE FEMALE GENDER IN THE AFRICAN SOCIETY,I THINK THE CHALLENGE OF “WHAT ARE THE IMPROVEMENTS THE FEMALE GENDER HAS BEEN ABLE TO ACHIEVE SINCE THEIR INTORDUCTION INTO ‘POLITICS’? IS THE MOST OBVIOUS TODAY.
