Video games have become an increasing popular pastime. These new games are becoming increasingly realistic, making it more
and more difficult for youth, especially the very young to depict the differences in reality. This paper looks at the correlation between highly violent and gory games and an increase of violent activity in the people who play them. It discusses how these games affect a person's memory and
cognitive development.
