The paper shows that
media reports today are not presented through the 'world view' lens, rather, they are a depiction of
the Western 'white' ideology that has been seen as the 'majority' view. The paper
shows that the reporting has such a subtle bias that it is at times unrecognizable, but with when critically analyzed the bias is made clear. The paper
examines "Making Whiteness", Grace Elizabeth Hale which focuses on the history of prejudice and Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine" which examines how the media portrays certain actions.
