This paper defends the
position that
violence in the media does indeed contribute to violent behavior in individuals. The
paper cites and then negates several arguments that oppose this position and cites research to support the point of view of the paper. It is noted that media
violence is not the only factor contributing to violent
behavior, and some of these other factors are discussed as well.
