This paper analyzes the various causes for the recent decline in sales of Ford automobiles while also examining the business
practices of Honda which have resulted in a consistent rise in sales. The writer contends and explains that the present
manufacturing procedures at the Ford
production plants which were initially implemented in the 1980s are currently outdated and irrelevant and a prime contributing factor to the company's present status.
