Netolicky and Harrison look at the factors that contribute to the
students' feelings of alienation in the classroom. Combining
their research with knowledge about cultural influences on indigenous
students, they present a
program for at-risk students. This paper presents the study carried out on Aboriginal students and analyzes the program developed by the authors.
