A research paper on the impending crisis in the
education system in America, with teacher shortages, particularly in the
area of special
education. The survey questions were distributed to a subset of special education teachers located in Muskogee County, Georgia. The research provides insight into the current state of high school special education in the region and in the country and can be duplicated among other schools and counties throughout the nation.
