This paper shall address the role of the CIA and its investigation of domestic intelligence. Several key
events in the history
of the CIA are discussed, including the Bay of Pigs and the
events at the Watergate Hotel. An emphasis on the Rockefeller Commission as a means of regulating the CIA is noted.
