This paper
provides an overview of the
government system used by the state of Michigan and uses this overview to compare
the situation in Michigan to the governing style of the country as a whole. This paper therefore
provides the reader with a concise summary of the ways in which Michigan is both alike and different from the U.S. federal
government.
