This paper discusses the political dilemma the Democrats are in due to President Bush's tax
cuts. It explains that if Democrats
are against the tax
cuts, it looks bad. If they are for them, they risk, not only the huge deficits, but also a lack of money to fund any of the programs Democrats have historically favored, such as expanding services to the
elderly.
