This paper discusses the prevalence of human rights abuses in modern-day Turkey, with special notice of human rights abuses
towards prisoners. It also looks at what Turkey is doing to change how it treats those who have been arrested and incarcerated. The paper also looks at the pressure being imposed on Turkey by various human rights organizations and some of the factors motivating Turkey to try and improve its record on human rights.
