This paper explores the tragic social ailment of child
abuse. It looks at its effects on the
victims, the various forms it
can take, the primary causes of
child abuse, and the cycle of repetition often seen in child abuse. Also examined are some measures that could be taken to help reduce the number of child abuse incidents and how to intervene when child abuse is suspected.
