This paper summarizes an article and discusses some possible solutions for preparing the current Canadian Medicare system
for the
aging baby boom population. It focuses on the reasons why a privitized
health care system would not be beneficial to the majority of Canadians, and the alternatives that could be adopted to end the Medicare crisis.
