paper presents Max Weber's theory theoretical views on religion and
capitalism as summerized in his book "The Protestant
Ethic and the Spirit of
Capitalism". The author points out that Weber uses the religious sect of Calvinism to advance capitalism into the West. The
paper compares capitalism with Marxism.
