Here are four (4) ways to turn people on to work no matter what your position is:

1. Give praise and recognition wherever you see good work. A well-placed compliment or encouraging word can be just what someone needs to spur him or her on to greater efforts and successes.
2. Organize activities to promote company spirit and teamwork. Don't wait for the boss to suggest such activities. He or she may be too busy.Take the initiative and tell him or her what you would like to do.
3. Think up new ways to make work more enjoyable and productive and suggest them to your boss. Flex your creative muscles and you can find all sorts of ways to keep people interested and motivated.
4. Set an example for other people through your own efforts and excellent work. Motivation by examplespeaks louder than anything else and any enthusiasm you generate for your own work will be highly contagious.
